About this scholarship
Drake University's Bulldog Promise offers full tuition coverage for up to four years of full-time undergraduate study to qualifying first-time Iowa residents seeking a bachelor's degree. After other scholarships, grants, and financial aid are applied, remaining tuition is covered. Eligibility requires a 3.5 or higher cumulative high school GPA, Iowa residency as defined by the Iowa Department of Education, Federal Pell Grant eligibility demonstrated through the FAFSA completed before July 1, and a complete admission application received by March 1. Students entering fall 2026 or later may qualify for this need-based full-tuition program.
