Bridging Educational Grant in Nursing (BEGIN)

Ontario personal support workers and registered practical nurses enrolled in accredited PSW-RPN, RPN-RN, or PSW-RN bridging programs at Ontario colleges or universities may apply. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents residing in Ontario who commit to a return-of-service in hospitals, primary care, long-term care, or home and community care after graduation.

Tuition and mandatory ancillary fee reimbursements are available up to $6,000 per year for PSW-RPN pathways or up to $10,000 per year for RPN-RN/PSW-RN pathways. Wraparound support of up to $5,000 per year may be available for demonstrated financial need. Apply at begin.werpn.com.
