About this scholarship

The Bonneville Scholarship is a University of Utah merit award for first-year, first-time students with an unweighted cumulative high school GPA of 3.80 to 3.89 who submit a completed admission application by December 1. Utah residents and non-residents from states outside the Western Undergraduate Exchange program are eligible. Recipients receive $6,000 per academic year toward tuition and mandatory fees while enrolled full-time on the main campus. The scholarship renews for up to eight semesters when students maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA, remain in good standing, and complete at least 24 credit hours during each academic year.
