About this scholarship
The Building Outstanding Leadership Development (BOLD) Program at the University of North Georgia awards up to thirty first-year students a $5,000 annual scholarship, split $2,500 per fall and spring semester or up to cost of attendance. Eligible applicants are new first-year admits or freshman transfer admits with fewer than thirty earned credit hours beginning in the fall semester, seeking a bachelor's degree on the Cumming, Dahlonega, Gainesville, or Oconee campuses. Scholars participate in monthly leadership meetings, a retreat, mentorship, and service activities while maintaining program academic and attendance commitments. Applicants are notified of decisions in May and may contact Brooke.Owenby@ung.edu for details.
