About this scholarship
Indigenous students (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit with proof of status) who are Canadian or U.S. citizens or permanent residents, pursuing full-time trades, certificate, diploma, or bachelor's studies at an accredited institution in Canada or the United States, may apply. Applicants must live within about 50 km of a BluEarth office, operations, or development community, or be a member of a First Nations community partnered with BluEarth. Master's and doctorate students are not eligible. Preference for programs tied to renewable energy or sustainability.
Awards of up to $3,000. Selection weighs financial need, academic merit, community involvement, studies transferable to renewable energy or environmental stewardship, and proximity to BluEarth locations. Apply online with an unofficial transcript (if completed in the last five years), one letter of recommendation, and proof of Aboriginal status.
