The Bennie and Shirley Smith Endowed Scholarship at Delaware State University was established by the owners of Bennie Smith Funeral Home and community supporters to help DSU students stay enrolled and complete their degrees. Current and returning DSU undergraduates apply through the single University Scholarship Application on the DSU scholarship portal with a FAFSA on file, generally needing at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment unless a donor specifies otherwise.
