The Bengal Experience Grant rewards first-time freshmen at SUNY Buffalo State University who complete an official campus visit through the recruitment process, including Open House, Admitted Student Days, or qualifying virtual visits. For fall admit terms, the visit must occur by May 1 before the entry term. The grant provides up to $1,000 per year toward non-tuition billed expenses and is renewable for four years with full-time enrollment and a 2.25 cumulative GPA. If other institutional, federal, or state aid fully covers billed charges, the grant may be reduced or canceled.
