About this scholarship
The Ben and Nellie Baty Endowed Scholarship supports Tarleton State University students majoring in marketing or business management in the College of Business. Recipients must be U.S. citizens with a minimum 3.0 GPA, strong academic performance, and leadership through student activities or part-time employment funding their education. Preference goes to U.S. Army ROTC students meeting the criteria, then to other eligible business majors. Mr. Baty attended Tarleton from 1948 to 1950 and later led a distinguished Shell Oil career.
