Open annually to an Osgoode Hall Law School JD student with financial need. Preference goes to a student who demonstrates an interest in health law.

Created in memory of Barry Alan Spiegel, Osgoode 1960, who clerked for Chief Justice Ian McRuer and practised as a corporate commercial and later health law lawyer. He was known for mentoring students and associates.
