About this scholarship
For outstanding domestic students entering the Bachelor of Commerce program at UBC Sauder directly from secondary school or transferring from another post-secondary institution who demonstrate financial need.
Renewable entrance scholarships come from an endowment established by Barrie Martin in memory of his daughter Diana Carol Martin. Subject to continued academic standing, awards renew for up to three additional years or until the first undergraduate degree is completed.
Selection considers academic merit, leadership, community service, and extracurricular achievement. There is no separate application. Awards are made on the recommendation of the Centennial Scholars Entrance Award Committee.
Barrie Martin entered the CGA program at UBC in his thirties and established this award to help students with financial barriers.
