About this scholarship
This endowed scholarship supports students in Fayetteville Technical Community College's Funeral Service program who plan to work in North Carolina funeral service after graduation. Recipients must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, enroll in three or more credit hours, and may use the award for tuition, books, uniforms, and supplies. Employees of L. Harold Poole Funeral Service receive first right of refusal. After graduation, the student must work in North Carolina funeral service for at least one year and pass required state and national boards; failure to meet post-graduation requirements may require reimbursement of awarded funds.
