About this scholarship
The Widener Color Guard Band Scholarship awards $2,500 per year, renewable annually, to undergraduate students who audition for the athletic bands color guard. Applicants submit a Color Guard Scholarship application, participate in a Zoom interview with the Director of Athletic Bands, provide a YouTube performance link, and supply a band director recommendation via email. Recipients participate in band and wind ensemble activities and take private lessons as part of the award requirements.
