About this scholarship

Competitive scholarship for Baltimore city government employees, including police and fire personnel, who have worked full-time for the city at least twelve consecutive months and need financial assistance to pursue a UBalt undergraduate or graduate degree. Undergraduate applicants need at least 60 transferable credits and a 2.5 GPA; graduate applicants need a conferred bachelor's degree with a 3.0 GPA. Awards cover up to one-half of tuition and fees for up to eight undergraduate semesters or six graduate semesters and require FAFSA submission, demonstrated high financial need, half-time enrollment, and annual employment verification. The award cannot be combined with UBalt merit, foundation, or other institutional scholarships.
