About this scholarship
Carthage College awards automatic academic merit scholarships of up to $22,000 per year to qualified incoming freshmen at admission based on cumulative non-weighted high school GPA. No separate scholarship application is required beyond your admission application and high school transcripts. Awards range from $19,000 per year for a 2.5–2.99 GPA up to $22,000 per year for a 3.75–4.0 GPA for students starting fall 2026 or later. Renewal requires a minimum cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment each year. Non-need-based scholarships cannot exceed tuition when combined unless otherwise noted.
