About this scholarship
The Austin E. Knowlton Scholarship at Denison University supports Ohio residents admitted to Denison who plan to major in mathematics or the sciences. There is no separate scholarship application; candidates meeting the residency and academic-interest criteria are automatically considered when offered admission. Each award provides up to five thousand dollars regardless of financial need, stacks with other Denison merit aid subject to a combined cap at full tuition, and renews annually while the student remains eligible under Denison financial aid policy. The foundation established the scholarship in 2012 to honor the Bellefontaine-born construction executive and Ohio State engineering graduate.
