About this scholarship

U.S. high school and undergraduate students (two- or four-year colleges, including trade schools) in the fifty states, D.C., and territories may enter Americans United's Student Contest with an essay (750 to 1,000 words) and/or portrait video (1 to 2 minutes) on church-state separation. First place in each category receives $1,500; second $1,000; third $500 (up to $1,500). Employees and board members of Americans United and their families are ineligible.
