About this scholarship
The Amigo Scholarship is a four-year renewable tuition scholarship for non-resident entering freshmen at the University of New Mexico Main campus. Recipients receive approximately twenty-three thousand one hundred forty-nine dollars per year plus a two hundred dollar annual stipend. Students must be admitted by June 1 for fall or October 1 for spring with either a 3.5 GPA and 23 ACT (1130 SAT) or a 3.0 GPA and 26 ACT (1240 SAT). Scholars must complete fifteen new credit hours with a 2.5 GPA each fall and spring semester.
