About this scholarship
The Alumni Heritage Scholarship at Valparaiso University provides $1,000 per year to incoming undergraduates who are dependent children of a Valparaiso University alumnus or alumna. No separate application is required beyond the undergraduate admission application, and eligible students are notified with their offer of admission. Recipients must maintain full-time enrollment and Satisfactory Academic Progress to renew. A student cannot receive both the Alumni Heritage Scholarship and the Legacy Award; if both a parent and another relative are alumni, the Alumni Heritage Award is granted.
