Alfred State Scholars Out-of-State is a Freeway merit scholarship for academically talented first-time or transfer full-time residential students entering a baccalaureate degree program at Alfred State College who reside and attend high school outside New York State. The award provides up to ten thousand nine hundred fifty dollars per year and requires on-campus study on the Alfred or Wellsville campus. No separate scholarship application is necessary; students are automatically considered at admission with preference for those accepted by March fifteenth. Recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA, live on campus, and remain continuously enrolled full time.
