About this scholarship
Alfred State College awards the Alfred State Scholars merit scholarship to academically talented first-time, full-time incoming students entering a baccalaureate degree program who are New York State residents studying on the Alfred or Wellsville campus. The award provides up to five thousand dollars per year applied to non-tuition expenses including books, supplies, fees, and transportation. No separate scholarship application is required; students are automatically considered at admission with preference for those accepted by March fifteenth. Recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA each semester and remain enrolled full time on campus.
