About this scholarship
The Alfred J. Bladecki Scholarship was created in memory of a Consumers Power supervisor by his wife Delight Bladecki, a Delta College nursing faculty member, with contributions from colleagues, friends, and relatives. It supports Delta College students in nursing clinical courses who are working toward careers in the medical field. Recipients are selected through the annual Foundation scholarship application each December through February. Typical awards follow the Foundation's standard one thousand two hundred fifty dollar annual amount split between fall and winter semesters according to credit load. Applicants must be Delta students with an active student account and complete the online essay-based application process.
