About this scholarship
The Al Maisto Honors College Scholarship provides $1,000 to full-time undergraduate honors students at UNC Charlotte who exhibit exemplary academic performance, citizenship, and service to their honors program or the Honors College. Named for long-time psychology professor and former Honors College associate dean Dr. Al Maisto, the award is applied for during the spring semester through the NinerScholars Portal. The Honors College Advisory Board raised funds for this scholarship to recognize students who contribute meaningfully to the honors community beyond the classroom.
