About this scholarship

Alabama residents attending eligible independent, nonprofit Alabama colleges or universities may apply through their institution's financial aid office for the Alabama Student Grant Program, administered by ACHE. Awards vary yearly but cannot exceed $3,000 per academic year.

This is a non-need-based state grant for undergraduate, non-sectarian study. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or in the process of becoming citizens and may not pursue a theology, divinity, or religious vocation degree. Deadlines vary by enrollment term.
