About this scholarship
Fairmont State University's Access Scholarship is a last-dollar tuition guarantee for eligible West Virginia residents pursuing their first bachelor's degree. After federal and state grants and other institutional aid are applied, Fairmont State covers remaining tuition and mandatory fee costs for full-time undergraduate students. Eligible students must be West Virginia residents with household income of seventy thousand dollars or less, apply and be admitted by June 15, and submit the FAFSA by June 15. Transfer students, former Fairmont State students completing a first degree, and high school graduates may qualify. Renewal requires satisfactory academic progress, a valid FAFSA by July 15, and continued full-time enrollment.
