About this scholarship
The Academic Excellence scholarship at Northwest Missouri State University awards three thousand dollars per fall and spring semester to entering freshmen whose academic credentials place them in the Academic Excellence tier of the merit chart based on high school GPA and ACT or SAT performance. Northwest evaluates applicants automatically at admission when they apply by May 1, and students receive email notification of their award. Academic Excellence is mutually exclusive with other automatic freshman merit scholarships. To renew, recipients must maintain a 3.00 Northwest cumulative GPA and complete twenty-four credit hours each academic year for up to four consecutive years of full-time enrollment.
