The Abbie Hoisington Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund supports future special education teachers at Rhode Island College. Established in 2013 by Abbie Hoisington's parents as a tribute after her posthumous MED in 2003, the fund assists students preparing for careers teaching students with disabilities.
