Scholarships at University of Tennessee System

Chancellor's merit scholarship honoring General Robert Neyland, providing seven thousand dollars annually for four years to six new recipients selected each spring by the UT General Scholarship Committee. Awards five thousand dollars per year for four years, or five years in standard five-year degree programs. Apply for first-year admission by November 1 with scholarship questions or for transfer admission by July 1. Maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA for renewal. Selection occurs through the competitive Chancellor's Scholarship process.

Last-dollar Tri-Star scholarship for Tennessee residents admitted to UT Knoxville who receive the HOPE Scholarship and have family adjusted gross income under seventy-five thousand dollars with assets under seventy-five thousand dollars on the FAFSA. Combined with other aid, covers tuition and mandatory fees for up to eight semesters. Complete the UT Promise application by December 15, file the FAFSA by the UT priority date, and fulfill eight volunteer service hours plus mentoring each semester through the Rocky Top Scholars program. Available to first-year, transfer, current, and nontraditional students.
