Scholarships at Taylor University

The Muselman Memorial Scholarship honors Arthur and Gloria Muselman and supports one Taylor University student with $30,000 over four years distributed as $5,000 freshman year, $7,000 sophomore year, $8,000 junior year, and $10,000 senior year. Applicants must be accepted full-time students with a 3.0 GPA and evidence of strong Christian leadership and character. All students may apply, with preference for residents of Adams or Wells counties in Indiana and graduates of South Adams High School. Apply and be accepted to Taylor, then submit the scholarship application by February 1 with short answers on career goals and faith growth in high school.

The Halbrook Freedom Scholarship awards up to $5,000 per year renewable to Taylor University students who file the FAFSA by February 1, demonstrate financial need, and are accepted as full-time students. The Halbrook Family Foundation seeks students of deep Christian beliefs interested in entrepreneurship, education, media, or government who uphold enduring American principles of faith and free markets. Applicants submit the scholarship application by February 1 with two 250-word essays on the U.S. Constitution and entrepreneurship. The award supports servant-leaders aligned with Taylor's mission to minister Christ's love through civic and economic freedom.

The Roth Center for Missions Computing Scholars scholarship provides $4,000 to first-year participants who work on missions computing projects, plan conferences such as the LightSys Code-A-Thon, and assist weekly Roth Center operations averaging ten hours per week during the semester. The award is renewable and amounts may increase for returning RCMC Scholars. Taylor computer science and engineering majors apply through the department scholarship PDF emailed to scholarships@cse.taylor.edu by February 28. The Academic Summer Programs Scholarship is a one-time $1,000 award for students who enroll full-time at Taylor University after attending an eligible summer camp, academy, or conference on Taylor's Upland campus during high school and prior to senior year. Participants must complete the required scholarship process while on campus during the camp or conference. The award applies to the first year of enrollment and does not replace larger merit tiers but adds to Taylor's welcome package. The Summit Ministries Scholarship awards $1,000 per year to Taylor University students who attended a Summit Ministries program the summer before senior year of high school and enroll full-time as first-time freshmen. Summit Ministries provides worldview training for Christian students; Taylor partners to recognize participants with this renewable award when they matriculate. Ask your Taylor admissions counselor for program verification details. The scholarship stacks with merit aid subject to Taylor packaging policies and requires full-time enrollment each renewal year.
