Scholarships at Southeastern University

Endowed scholarship for full-time Southeastern University students actively pursuing a degree in social work who demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be accepted to SEU or currently enrolled full time on the Lakeland campus. Students apply during the February 1 through March 1 endowed scholarship window and may list up to five scholarships on one application. Need is determined from FAFSA data submitted to SEU. Recipients are notified by May 1 and must write thank-you letters to donors.

Endowed scholarship for Southeastern University students with a minimum 3.5 GPA who have an interest in apologetics. Applicants must submit a paper on the subject of apologetics as part of the endowed scholarship process. Students apply during the February 1 through March 1 window and may select up to five endowed scholarships. Accepted or currently enrolled full-time Lakeland campus students qualify. Recipients are notified by May 1 and must submit thank-you letters to donors.

Endowed scholarship for junior or senior Southeastern University students with a minimum 2.75 GPA who demonstrate financial need. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and may be undergraduate or graduate students. Once selected, students receive preferential consideration for additional scholarship support until graduation if they continue to meet criteria, for a maximum of five years. Endowed scholarship for Southeastern University students majoring in music, graphic arts, or marketing who maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be accepted or currently enrolled full-time on the Lakeland campus. Students apply during the annual endowed scholarship application period from February 1 through March 1 and may list up to five scholarships on one application. Recipients are selected by the scholarship committee and notified by May 1 with instructions to submit thank-you letters to donors.

Endowed scholarship for full-time Southeastern University students with demonstrated financial need who are of good character and in good standing with the university. Recipients must be participants or members of designated Florida-based Assemblies of God churches or ministries including Rich Valley Church in Valrico, Freedom Church in Tallahassee, Heart of the Father Ministry in Lakeland, Strong Tower Church in Lakeland, or Parker Street Ministries in Lakeland. A narrative essay documenting qualifications must be reviewed and signed by the pastor or director and submitted to the scholarship committee. Apply February 1 through March 1.
