Scholarships at Saint Joseph's University

The Genuardi Family Foundation Scholarship at Saint Joseph's University supports rising juniors pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Food Marketing through the Academy of Food Marketing. Three two-year scholarships are awarded annually; each $20,000 award is applied over the recipient's final two undergraduate years. Applicants submit a separate application by April 6. Recipients retain eligibility for the second year by maintaining a 3.0 GPA or better and remaining a Food Marketing major. The foundation has partnered with the Academy since 2004 to fund outstanding food marketing students.

The John P. McNulty Program at Saint Joseph's University provides full-tuition scholarships and leadership development for highly qualified young women pursuing degrees in natural sciences, mathematics, or computer science. Applicants apply separately by February 1 with a minimum 3.5 high school GPA; SAT and ACT scores are not required. Finalists interview before selection. McNulty Scholars receive four years of full tuition provided they remain full-time students in an eligible major, maintain a 3.2 GPA each year, and submit an annual reapplication. The program includes faculty mentoring, funded research, internships, and professional development.

The Lenfest Incentive Scholarship at Saint Joseph's University offers competitive full-tuition awards to first-year and transfer students who attended the Gesu School of Philadelphia. Candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and service to their community. Applicants file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid because financial need factors into selection. This scholarship supports Gesu School graduates continuing their education at Saint Joseph's Hawk Hill campus and represents one of the university's highest institutional awards for partner-school students.

The Villiger Speech and Debate Society Scholarship at Saint Joseph's University awards a limited number of partial-tuition scholarships to incoming first-year, transfer, and international students who excelled in high school speech and/or debate and wish to continue forensic competition in college. Applicants must submit a separate application by February 1 after completing their admission application and activating their SJU Admission Account. Selection considers competitive forensic achievement and commitment to joining the Villiger Speech and Debate Society at Saint Joseph's.
