Scholarships at Quinnipiac University

The Alan Abelson Endowed Scholarship in Business Communications supports Quinnipiac undergraduate and graduate students pursuing careers in business journalism or financial communications, honoring the Barron's columnist known for scrutinizing markets and corporate fraud. Applicants must be at least sophomores with a 3.20 GPA in their major and submit a one-page resume plus a one-page project proposal for a business journalism narrative or academic research project. The ten thousand dollar award is paid for the spring semester; the 2025-26 application deadline is March 23, 2026.

The Future Nursing Leader Scholar Program recognizes high-achieving students admitted to Quinnipiac's Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program who aspire to healthcare leadership. Admitted ABSN students receive an invitation to apply after admission. Recipients earn ten thousand dollars toward ABSN study paid as twenty-five hundred dollars per semester, access leadership development activities, three graduate credits toward the MSN in Nursing Leadership, and guaranteed MSN admission upon ABSN completion in good standing without a separate graduate application.

This two thousand dollar scholarship supports Quinnipiac undergraduate and graduate business students who participate in M&T Bank Center for Women and Business programs or demonstrate commitment to inclusive professional opportunities for women and their allies in the workplace. Applicants must be matriculated for Fall 2026, hold a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, file the FAFSA to demonstrate financial need, and submit an application essay evaluated for alignment with the Center's mission. Applications are due March 20, 2026 at 5 p.m. EDT; previous recipients are ineligible, and the awardee must attend at least two Center engagement events.

The iQ Career Explorer Scholarship, funded by the John and Elizabeth Valenti Fund, provides fifteen hundred dollar stipends to two undergraduate Quinnipiac students pursuing meaningful unpaid or low-pay summer internships between May and August. Applicants must be enrolled at least in their second undergraduate year, secure an accepted internship paying five hundred dollars or less total before applying, demonstrate financial need, and remain enrolled through December 2026. The online application is due April 30, 2026; prior recipients and clinical credit rotations are ineligible, and funds disburse by June 30 after verification.
