Scholarships at University of Pennsylvania

The Melissa Sengbusch Inspirational Scholarship Fund honors a Penn Nursing student who demonstrated extraordinary determination while battling cancer. Qualifying students must provide proof of residency such as a driver's license, car registration, voter registration, or RN license showing an address in Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Chester, or Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania; New Castle County, Delaware; or Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, or Mercer Counties in New Jersey.

The Amy Gutmann Leadership Scholars Program at Penn Nursing provides financial aid and tailored leadership development for exemplary undergraduate and graduate nursing students. Endowed through a two-million-dollar gift from former Penn President Amy Gutmann and Dr. Michael Doyle, the program prepares nurse leaders in evidence-based care, research, policy, innovation, and social justice. Penn Nursing applicants who are eligible are notified how to apply; applications include an essay reviewed by a specially appointed selection committee. Scholars join a network of Penn Nursing alumni with global impact in the profession.
