Scholarships at North Central State College

The Tuition Freedom 64 Scholarship is a last-dollar institutional award for North Central State College students who completed College Credit Plus, Career Tech, or CTAG coursework in high school through a partner secondary school. Eligible 2026 graduates who earned eight or nine college credits in the program can receive up to 64 credit hours of tuition coverage while pursuing an associate degree full time. Recipients must apply to NCSC, complete the Tuition Freedom application and FAFSA by June 25, maintain a 2.75 GPA, and enroll full time each fall and spring until the degree is finished.

This Tuition Freedom pathway supports CollegeNow engineering graduates from North Central State College who continue into years three and four of the mechanical engineering technology bachelor's degree at NCSC. The scholarship pays remaining tuition charges not covered by other free financial aid while students pursue the bachelor's completion track. Recipients must have completed the CollegeNow engineering associate degree, remain in the mechanical engineering technology major, and meet the same FAFSA, application, full-time enrollment, and GPA requirements as other Tuition Freedom awards. Changing majors forfeits the scholarship.

The Husted Family Leadership Fund for Women, established by Ohio Second Lady Tina Husted in partnership with Cedar Fair Charities and the NCSC Foundation, supports Crawford County women pursuing higher education at North Central State College. Proceeds from the Cedar Sky artwork partnership help grow the fund. Students apply through the standardized NCSC Foundation scholarship application each February and must be regularly enrolled in a degree or certificate program with a completed FAFSA on file. Awards are credited to student tuition accounts at the college.

The Sam Wade Memorial Criminal Justice Scholarship is a North Central State College Foundation endowed award for students in criminal justice-related programs at NCSC. Applicants complete one standardized foundation scholarship application between February 1 and March 1 to be considered for all matching foundation funds. Recipients must be regularly enrolled NCSC students with a submitted FAFSA, and awards apply directly to tuition charges. The John and Mary Invocato Memorial Scholarship is an endowed North Central State College Foundation fund established by board member Dave Bush to support Crawford County students at NCSC. It appears on the foundation's published annual scholarship list and is awarded through the consolidated foundation application process. Applicants must be regularly enrolled NCSC students seeking a degree or certificate, complete the FAFSA by March 1, and meet any additional criteria the foundation attaches to the award during review.

The Crawford Success Center and Crawford County Scholarship supports North Central State College students connected to Crawford County through the foundation's annual scholarship cycle.
