Scholarships at University of Nevada, Reno

Pack Promise+ is a need-based last-dollar program ensuring eligible Nevada residents receive up to eleven thousand seven hundred fifty dollars in gift aid for the twenty twenty-six twenty seven year toward tuition, fees, and books at the University of Nevada, Reno. Recipients must pursue a first bachelor's degree, enroll full time in fifteen credits per semester, qualify for the Federal Pell Grant, and have a Student Aid Index of seven thousand dollars or less. Students apply for admission and complete the FAFSA or Institutional Methodology form annually between October first and February fifteenth using federal school code zero zero two five six eight. Gift aid fills remaining costs after other grants and scholarships and does not require repayment.

The Dean's Pack Award adds five thousand dollars per year for up to four years for freshmen or three years for transfers who meet Tahoe Award requirements at the University of Nevada, Reno. Academic colleges nominate recipients from the Tahoe-eligible pool based on college-specific criteria after the February fifteenth admissions deadline. Students must be domestic out-of-state residents outside Nevada and WICHE, pursue a first bachelor's degree, and maintain fifteen in-person credits each fall and spring with out-of-state residency and federal SAP. Pre-nursing, nursing, athletes, study-abroad participants, and international students are ineligible. The award stacks with the Tahoe and Honors Awards for up to twelve thousand dollars annually.

The Louis and Genevieve Capurro Scholarship awards at least one thousand dollars through up to nine annual awards to junior or senior University of Nevada, Reno undergraduates majoring in the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources. Recipients must demonstrate financial need, maintain a three point zero UNR GPA, enroll in at least twelve credits with fifteen recommended, show satisfactory progress, and have worked with a faculty member on research relating to agricultural enhancement or Great Basin agricultural issues. Apply via the Graduate and Undergraduate Scholarship Application in MyNEVADA by February first and complete the FAFSA with school code zero zero two five six eight when need is required.

Friends of CABNR Internship Scholarships provide approximately nine hundred dollars for one year to University of Nevada, Reno undergraduates majoring within the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources who conduct research or internships in the college. Nevada residents who attended an accredited high school in northern or rural Nevada counties are eligible. Applicants need a minimum three point zero UNR GPA, twelve credits per semester with fifteen recommended, satisfactory academic progress, active engagement in a college research project or internship, and a faculty support letter. Complete the Graduate and Undergraduate Scholarship Application in MyNEVADA between October first and February first plus FAFSA when required.
