Scholarships at University of Missouri System

The Mizzou Alumni Scholars Program awards scholarships ranging from five hundred to five thousand dollars per year to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and continuing undergraduates at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Awards apply to fall and spring semesters only. Students log into ScholarshipUniverse, complete matching questions, and apply for scholarships offered by the Mizzou Alumni Association. Incoming freshmen must submit applications by December 1; transfer and continuing students have a January 1 deadline. Individual alumni-funded awards within the program have distinct criteria set by donors and reviewed through ScholarshipUniverse.

The Kummer Vanguard Scholars Program at Missouri S&T awards two thousand dollars per year for up to four years to up to two hundred fifty undergraduate STEM scholars annually. First-year applicants need a 3.4 unweighted GPA and a 26 ACT, 1240 SAT, test-optional qualifying admission, or confirmed Missouri A+ eligibility, and must pursue a STEM major. Transfer students need a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Scholars participate in mentorship, research, entrepreneurship, and leadership programs. Applications have January 15 and March 15 deadlines with decisions within fourteen business days. Recipients must register for advising and registration events by specified dates after selection.

The Tuition Settlement Scholarship reduces tuition and mandatory fees for eligible students related to a 2005 legal settlement. Original class members who attended a UM System institution between Winter 1995 and Fall 2001 as Missouri resident undergraduates aged sixteen to twenty-two, plus their spouses and children, may apply. Awards range from at least five hundred dollars up to fifteen hundred dollars per academic year and cannot exceed the recipient's tuition and fees. Submit the online application by April 15 for summer and fall or August 15 for spring, with supporting paperwork due by month end.
