Scholarships at Lebanon Valley College

The Mary E. McCurdy Graham '30 Scholarship in Biology awards $5,000 per year for up to four years to competitive high school seniors admitted to Lebanon Valley College who plan to major in biology, including pre-health tracks or secondary education certification in biology. Applicants must rank in the top 15% of their class or show strong academic performance, submit a college admission application, and provide a brief essay of no more than 500 words on career goals and interest in biology. Physical therapy majors are not eligible. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 cumulative and major GPA and remain biology majors all four years. Application materials are due January 15.

The Katherine J. Bishop Fund for Global Studies at Lebanon Valley College provides study-abroad grants to enrolled undergraduates participating in any LVC study abroad program. Awards are predominantly need-based, and all applicants receive funding generally between $500 and $2,000 toward program costs. The endowed fund was established through a major gift to expand global education opportunities for LVC students, especially those from higher-need families facing travel cost barriers. Students may receive both Zerbe and Bishop funding, with Bishop awards notified after official Zerbe awards when applicable.

The J. Robert O'Donnell Scholarship in Literature awards $1,250 per year for up to four years on a competitive basis to high school seniors offered admission to Lebanon Valley College who plan to declare a major in English or creative writing. Selection considers academic record and a separate application including a résumé of extracurricular activities, community service, employment, and related experience. Applications are due March 1. To renew, recipients must maintain a 3.0 overall GPA and continue majoring in English or creative writing for all four years at LVC.

Undergraduate student-athletes at Lebanon Valley College who try out or interview for the LVC eSports program and rank Level 1 or Level 2 (of four levels) may be considered for a renewable esports scholarship. Award amounts and the number of awards vary with roster needs. A FAFSA is required for consideration. Apply through LVC admissions. There is no fixed scholarship-only deadline; priority rolling admissions deadlines are recommended.
