Scholarships at Kuyper College

The Multicultural Scholarship supports Kuyper College's goal of a culturally diverse campus by awarding five hundred to five thousand dollars annually to qualified students. Applicants need a minimum 2.5 GPA and are expected to participate in student leadership while developing academic, spiritual, and social skills at Kuyper. Selection considers academic record, leadership involvement, application essays, cross-cultural experiences, and the student's ability to contribute to an intercultural student body. The Christian Ministry Scholarship recognizes incoming dependent students whose family's primary income comes from a parent working full time in Christian ministry through a nonprofit organization. Awards reach up to two thousand dollars for selected students demonstrating financial need through the FAFSA. Applicants must enroll in twelve or more credit hours, maintain a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and reapply annually. Students receiving a tuition waiver are ineligible. Submit the admission application and Christian Ministry Scholarship Application by January 1 for full consideration.

The Youth Minister Referral Scholarship supports new Kuyper College students, including freshmen and transfers, referred by a youth minister or pastor pursuing ministry leadership. Awards reach up to two thousand dollars based on need and stack with other Kuyper scholarships. Students must be admitted, enrolled full time, and have submitted the FAFSA. The referring youth minister or pastor must submit the reference form by August 1. Renewal requires satisfactory academic progress defined as a 2.5 GPA; the award prorates if enrollment drops below full time.
