Scholarships at Heidelberg University

Heidelberg University's International Student Financial Aid (ISFA) program provides need-based grants of up to $10,000 per year to international undergraduates after admission. Upon receiving an acceptance offer, students may complete Heidelberg's ISFA application to be considered for additional grant assistance beyond the International Ambassador Scholarship. Awards help bridge the gap between family resources and the cost of attendance at Heidelberg. Grants renew contingent on maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress and completing any required annual financial aid forms. Active United Church of Christ members attending Heidelberg University as full-time undergraduates may receive the UCC Grant. The grant provides up to $1,000 per year and is renewable for four years. Obtain a letter of recommendation from your UCC minister and complete the grant application through Heidelberg's financial aid office.

Heidelberg University offers performance-based scholarships for students participating in music, band, and theatre programs. Auditions are required for music and theatre majors and strongly encouraged for minors or non-majors seeking participation awards. Live auditions are preferred; video auditions are accepted when campus travel causes undue difficulty. Music applicants submit a Piano Assessment Form at least two weeks before audition and an Audition Reference Form from someone familiar with their musical and academic achievement. Theatre auditions are coordinated through the School of Music and Theatre. Award amounts vary by talent level and ensemble needs each year.
