Scholarships at Guam Community College

The Kurt S. Moylan Foundation Scholarship honors Guam's first elected lieutenant governor and supports continuing Guam Community College sophomores who have completed at least twenty-five credits. Three two-thousand-dollar awards are available for students pursuing Associate of Science degrees in Civil Engineering, Accounting, Office Technology, Practical Nursing, or Supervision and Management. Applicants must be Guam residents enrolled full-time with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Required materials include a two-page career goals essay, activity listing, two recommendation letters, and official transcripts. Funds apply to tuition, fees, and books.

The Felix M. and Governor Carlos G. Camacho Scholarship Foundation provides grant-in-aid to outstanding Guam Community College students pursuing associate degrees in Liberal Studies business track, Accounting, Marketing, or Supervision and Management. Recipients receive seven hundred fifty dollars per semester while enrolled full-time, in good standing, and continuing eligible coursework. Applicants must be residents of Guam. The application includes career and community-service responses and requires submission to the GCC Financial Aid Office. Board members, employees of affiliated corporations, and their household or immediate family members are ineligible.

The GCC Foundation LGBTQ+ Leadership Scholarship recognizes Guam Community College students who have demonstrated leadership and involvement in the LGBTQ community. Two five-hundred-dollar awards are available to full-time new or continuing GCC students who are Guam residents in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and who self-identify as LGBTQ+. Applicants submit an essay on personal and career goals and LGBTQ+ leadership involvement, activity listings, two recommendation letters, and official transcripts. Scholarship funds apply to tuition, fees, and books only. Submit completed applications to the GCC Financial Aid Office.
