Scholarships at Fresno Pacific University

First-time freshmen and transfer students enrolling full time in Fresno Pacific University's traditional undergraduate program who attend a Mennonite Brethren church may receive the Mennonite Brethren Scholarship. The award provides up to $4,000 per year for up to four years toward tuition only. The scholarship is applied before institutional need-based aid and cannot exceed tuition or demonstrated need. Apply and be admitted to FPU, submit an MB Church Membership or Attendance Form to Student Financial Services by July 15 for fall or December 1 for spring, and enroll full time. Students must notify SFS if MB church membership or attendance ends.

Theater Scholarships at Fresno Pacific University reward students with artistic, academic, and leadership potential who commit to active participation in the theater program production season. Acting and stage managing awards range from $2,500 to $4,000, while technical theater awards range from $1,800 to $3,000 per year. Applicants must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, audition or interview by May 1, register for Drama Practicum, and attend weekly production meetings. Recipients agree to keep weekday evenings available for rehearsals and fulfill participation expectations for their scholarship track.

The Church Match Scholarship partners Fresno Pacific University with a student's home church to stretch congregational support into higher education funding. For churches in the Pacific District of Mennonite Brethren Churches, FPU matches church contributions 2:1 up to $500 per semester. For all other churches, FPU matches 1:1 up to $250 per semester. Combined annual church-match funding can reach $500 to $1,500 depending on church giving levels. Students must coordinate church contributions through Student Financial Services and follow the published Church Match Scholarship policy.
