Scholarships at Eastern Michigan University

Donor-funded scholarship for undergraduates in Eastern Michigan University's Fermentation Science Program beginning in the 2025–26 academic year. The fund provides four annual awards of $2,500 each, including two for incoming students and two for upper-level students already in the program. Recipients are selected on academic merit, demonstrated interest in fermentation science, and financial need. Awardees are recognized at EMU's annual awards celebration. Endowed scholarship supporting string musicians in the Eastern Michigan University School of Music and Dance who participate in the EMU Symphony Orchestra. The fund honors Shing Cheng Seetoo and benefits students who play violin, viola, cello, or double bass. EMU announced the endowment during a School of Music and Dance fundraising concert and uses it to attract and retain talented orchestral string students. Honors College scholarship for outstanding transfer students funded by Emeritus Board of Regents Chairman Thomas Sidlik and Rebecca Boylan.
