Scholarships at Colorado State University

Scholarship for CSU students who have been in foster care, a group home, or court-ordered relative placement at any time and who maintain at least a 2.5 GPA while enrolled full time. The award is $10,000 for the academic year, paid $5,000 each semester. Apply through the CSU Scholarship Application on RamWeb when the portal opens October 1; the CSUSA deadline is March 1 for continuing and transfer students.

Scholarship for CSU students invited to participate in the Fostering Success Program who demonstrate financial need, maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, and enroll full time in any major. Awards start at $5,000 for the academic year. Apply through the CSU Scholarship Application on RamWeb, completing the Fostering Success section; the portal opens October 1 and closes March 1 for continuing and transfer students (February 1 for first-year students per CSUSA timelines).

Nonresident, first-time freshmen admitted to a degree-seeking program on CSU's Fort Collins campus who are citizens of federally or state-recognized tribes may qualify for the Native American Legacy Award. The award reduces nonresident tuition to Colorado resident base tuition rates. Submit tribal citizenship documentation to the Office of Admissions at least 15 business days before the term starts. NALA cannot be combined with Western Undergraduate Exchange, Yellow Ribbon, GI Promise, HB 15-1294 GI Benefits, or other nonresident institutional scholarships; the most beneficial award will be retained. Awards require on-campus enrollment during fall and spring semesters.
