Scholarships at Colorado Christian University

The CCU Visit Scholarship provides five hundred dollars toward College of Undergraduate Studies costs for prospective students who schedule and complete an official campus visit. CCU encourages students to pick a visit date, plan their trip, and experience campus life before enrolling. The visit scholarship is one of several ways CCU reduces out-of-pocket cost for incoming students alongside merit and need-based aid. Three World Changers Scholarships are awarded annually on a competitive basis to new CCU College of Undergraduate Studies students who qualify for a Merit Trustees Scholarship. Competition is by invitation only and occurs on campus early in the spring semester before intended enrollment. The scholarship covers full tuition, including the block rate for twelve to eighteen credits and any additional credits above eighteen. Recipients must maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA and meet all student aid eligibility requirements. Recipients forfeit eligibility for other CCU institutional grants and scholarships and remain responsible for fees and other attendance costs.

CCU's Scripture Memory Scholarship is awarded to College of Undergraduate Studies students who demonstrate the ability to memorize portions of Scripture using whichever recognized translation they choose. Eligible books of the Bible and scholarship amounts vary by book completed. Candidates must recite an entire book verbatim in one sitting without prompting, verified by two witnesses on CCU's Scripture Memory Scholarship Witness Verification Form submitted to Student Financial Services. The award supports students integrating biblical literacy with their CCU education.

The CCU Nightingale Funded Scholarship is reserved for exceptional BSN students or situations involving special financial or personal need within the School of Nursing and Health Professions. The Dean of Nursing awards this scholarship when standard aid does not meet a student's circumstances or when outstanding merit warrants additional support. Selection is made by nursing leadership rather than a student application process. Eligible students are enrolled in CCU's undergraduate BSN program and are notified when selected.
