Scholarships at University of Central Florida

Endowed Rosen College scholarship providing at least two annual awards of $5,000 to UCF hospitality students, established by Marriott Vacations Worldwide in honor of Stephen P. Weisz. Applicants must be enrolled in Rosen College with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to students interested in or experienced with the timeshare industry and those with demonstrated community volunteer service. Students apply through UCF's Access 2 Opportunities scholarship portal during the open scholarship cycle and must accept awards in A2O.

Undergraduate scholarship honoring CREOL founding director MJ Soileau, supporting photonic science and engineering students at UCF. Eligible students must be pending or declared photonic science and engineering majors who have completed or are enrolled in Calculus I and have not yet completed Foundations of Photonics, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Typical awards are up to $2,500 over four semesters, disbursed in fall and spring. Applications are accepted March through July each year through CREOL's undergraduate scholarship process.

CREOL endowed undergraduate scholarship established by industrial affiliate Lumentum, prioritizing returning students with a gap in their education and members of SDES organizations advancing underrepresented or marginalized groups or predominantly female optics organizations such as Women in Optics and Photonics. Typical awards are $1,000 and may cover tuition, textbooks, fees, and other cost-of-attendance items. UCF optics and photonics undergraduates apply during the March through July application window for fall disbursement.
