Scholarships at Brandeis University

Competitive scholarship for currently enrolled Brandeis sophomores who will become juniors in the following academic year. Applicants need a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher, strong academic performance, and meaningful contribution to the Brandeis community. Up to ten awards of up to five thousand dollars per semester are granted for junior and senior years. Eligible students are notified by email February 1 and must apply by March 11 with letters of recommendation. Recipients must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA for renewal.

Four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarship for students selected through the Posse Foundation and enrolled at Brandeis University. Brandeis was among the first highly selective colleges to partner with Posse in recognition of scholars' leadership skills. Liberal Arts Posse Scholars may study any subject in the Brandeis curriculum and receive pre-collegiate training before arriving on campus. Ten scholars are selected each year. Recipients are expected to excel academically while contributing leadership to the campus community throughout four years of undergraduate study.

Brandeis participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill Yellow Ribbon Program, pledging at least five undergraduate scholarships per academic year for eligible veterans. Qualifying students may receive GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon benefits up to the cost of tuition and mandatory fees, including health insurance, with remaining charges split evenly between the VA and Brandeis after the GI Bill annual limit is applied. Current or admitted undergraduates must submit a VA certificate of eligibility. Recipients must remain in good academic standing for renewal.
