Scholarships at Ave Maria University

Institutional grant for undergraduate siblings simultaneously enrolled at Ave Maria University. Each eligible sibling receives $2,000 per academic year for every year that two or more siblings are enrolled at AMU at the same time. Both siblings must maintain full-time enrollment with at least twelve credit hours per semester. To apply, email the Office of Financial Aid with both siblings' names and student ID numbers each academic year.

Institutional grant for undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor's degree at Ave Maria University who are active members of a Catholic parish in Florida. Recipients must be Florida residents for at least twelve consecutive months before the first day of classes and enroll full time with twelve or more credit hours per semester. The award is valued at $500 per academic year. Students complete the university's Florida Catholic application and have it signed and stamped by their local parish to apply.

The Thomas S. Monaghan Founder's Scholarship Program forms undergraduate leaders through Catholic liberal arts mentorship, small-group Scripture study, formation events, outreach, and campus fellowship. Applicants must first be accepted to Ave Maria University, then demonstrate academic, personal, and spiritual excellence and commitment to the program's Catholic mission. Accepted scholars receive an annual scholarship split evenly between fall and spring semesters. Participants attend weekly group meetings, nine required Catholic formation events each semester, outreach programs, and campus social events.
