Scholarships at Austin Peay State University

This endowment is Austin Peay State University's first scholarship dedicated to Gold Star families, honoring Retired Maj. Norman and Edna Landis. It supports Gold Star family spouses or children who are full-time APSU students with at least a 3.0 high school GPA to apply and must maintain a 3.0 GPA for renewal. When no eligible Gold Star candidate is available, a one-year award may go to a qualifying military dependent. Endowment payout determines award size each cycle rather than a fixed published amount.

The Ed Irwin Endowed Honor's Scholarship was established in 2013 by Hazel Irwin to honor her husband, Dr. Ed Irwin, for his academic tenure at Austin Peay and role establishing the APSU Honors Program.
