  The Stoody-West Graduate Fellowship will assist one United Methodist student in their post-graduate study at an accredited U.S. college or university who intends on pursuing a career in religious journalism.   To be eligible for the UMHEF Scholarships, applicants must: be an active, full member of The United Methodist Church, African Methodist Episcopal Church, AME Zion Church, or Christian Methodist Episcopal Church for at least one year prior to applying; and be a non-doctoral student.
