• Hebrew Union College Ph.D. Fellowships

  Students admitted to the highly competitive Ph.D. program full-time are automatically awarded a fellowship package, which includes an annual tuition scholarship ($27,500) plus stipend ($10,000) for up to four years. Each year up to two Pines Fellowships will be awarded, which carry an annual stipend of $20,000 for up to four years. Students may also apply for part-time Ph.D. study but there are no scholarships available for these programs.

• JFEDLA Brawerman Fellowship

  Through the Brawerman Fellowship, we develop and sustain a talent pool of Jewish young leaders for our community in perpetuity. The Fellowship provides an annual college scholarship of $15,000 (for up to 4 years), as well as participation in a larger program that builds leadership skills and further strengthens Fellows? connection to Jewish life through retreats, a trip to Israel, and other overseas opportunities.

  Every year, the Helen Diller Family Foundation awards up to 15 Jewish teens with $36,000 each for their leadership efforts to change the world. From the environment to social justice to access to education and beyond, these young people are tackling big challenges in their communities and having tremendous impact.

• Taco Bell Live Más Scholarship

  The Live Más Scholarship empowers students who are passionate about making a difference in their communities and beyond. This scholarship program by the Taco Bell Foundation supports students at every stage of their journey, helping them channel their passion into transformative change. Since 1992, the Taco Bell Foundation has awarded more than $110 million in Live Más Scholarships and grants to youth-serving nonprofit organizations focused on education and career readiness.

  The Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund offers multiple awards of up to $5,000 (renewable each year of undergrad for up to $20,000 in total) to Jewish high school seniors and graduates in the San Francisco Bay Area through the Nathan J. and Virginia H. Friedman College Scholarship.

  The Nathan L. Wolfson Scholarship was established to provide educational scholarships to blind and low vision Jewish students at accredited colleges and universities. Qualified applicants must attend an accredited college or university and are enrolled in a degree-granting program.

  The Elaine and Barry Gilbert College Scholarship is for Jewish high school seniors or past Gilbert Scholarship recipients who are already enrolled or planned to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study in the University of California (UC) system, at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, or at Hillsdale College in Michigan. Special consideration will be given to graduates of San Francisco’s Lowell or Washington High Schools.

  The JFEW Scholarship program provides 3-year scholarships to young women who are members of CUNY Hillels. The JFEW program for CUNY Career Connect aims to support young women from the CUNY Hillel community to advance toward fulfilling, self-sufficient futures, and to graduate on-time with a minimum of debt.

• JFS Orlando Kobrin Family Scholarship

  Due April 30, 2027

  The Kobrin Family Scholarship was established in 1990 to be awarded to a qualified student from the Jewish communities of Orange, Osceola or Seminole County who will be attending the University of Central Florida. The scholarship is available to a qualified, full-time, graduating high school student for a maximum of four years. The student must maintain a 3.1 GPA (based on a 4.0 scale) each year in order to remain qualified for the scholarship.
