Scholarships at SAIT

Open to SAIT students enrolled in eligible information technology and engineering programs, including Business Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Software Development, Web Developer, and related fields listed in the award criteria, who demonstrate financial need. Applicants must describe how they chose SAIT and their program. Seven $5,000 bursaries are available. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid.

Second-year SAIT students majoring in financial services within the Business Administration program in the School of Business may apply. Financial need, academic achievement, and community service are required. International students are eligible. One $4,000 school-specific award is available for the Fall semester. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid by September 28.

Second-year Legal Assistant diploma students at SAIT in the School of Business with financial need and a minimum 2.0 GPA. Preference goes to female students or students impacted by or who volunteered with organizations supporting domestic-violence education or training. International students may apply. The Bursary of Hope from Nadia's Hope Foundation is one $2,500 bursary for the Winter semester. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid by January 28.

Second-year Culinary Arts students at SAIT's School of Hospitality and Tourism may apply. You must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement with a minimum GPA of 3.00. International students are eligible. One award of $2,400 is offered for the Winter semester. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid by January 28.

Open to Canadian citizens in their third semester enrolled in Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing major), Business Administration (Marketing major), or Marketing within the School of Business at SAIT. Candidates must hold the highest GPA in Marketing and contribute to marketing techniques. One award of $1,550 is available for the Fall semester. SAIT students in their third semester of the Mechanical Engineering Technology program within the School of Manufacturing and Automation may apply. You must show financial need and academic achievement. Preference goes to students with dependents living at home. One memorial award of $1,300 is available for the Fall semester. SAIT students in their third semester of Information Technology Services or Software Development within the School for Advanced Digital Technology may apply. You must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement in your first and second semesters. International students are eligible. Two awards of $1,200 are offered for the Fall semester. Open to SAIT students in their third semester enrolled in the Electronics Engineering Technology program within the MacPhail School of Energy. Candidates must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, a positive attitude, and aptitude. Preference goes to a mature student with dependents. One award of $1,200 is available for the Fall semester. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid by September 28.

Open to SAIT students in their second semester enrolled in the Bachelor of Science Construction Project Management program in the School of Construction. International students are eligible. Candidates should exhibit financial need, satisfactory first-semester grades, and involvement in the SAIT community. One $1,100 school-specific award is available for the Winter semester. Apply through mySAIT Student Awards and Financial Aid by February 28.

Students in their third semester enrolled in any certificate, diploma, applied degree, or degree program at SAIT who demonstrate financial need and academic achievement (minimum GPA 3.70) may apply. Applicants should outline how their career and philosophy could help better world understanding. One general award of $1,000 is offered for the Fall semester. International students are eligible.
